but it's a battle cry
tied up and held for ransom
too high a price to pay
silenced
for the words i say
freedom of speech you say?
what a joke
we live in a world crawling with fear
and fear gives birth to hate
and hate leads to violence
you bruised my face with your fist
threw me to the floor bloodied
slammed the bars behind me
trapped
like an animal
caged
enraged
i will fight you with all of my might
and i won't break you with my hatred
i'll bathe you in Light
